PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN EVERYTHING YOU DO

I am a walker and a jogger. Every day of my life I run and walk. I also have a bicycle which I ride for miles at a time. I swim. I play tennis. And three times a week I take my progressive weight training workout using dumbbells and barbells of various weights. Exercise is the greatest single factor available to man to remove the blockage and clogging in the arteries and other blood vessels and to increase the greater flow of oxygen-en, ricked blood in and through the heart and body.

It is the heart that pumps the blood supply into the body’s 600 muscles … and the mom we bring these 600 muscles into play, the better our heart, the better our circulation, the better our physical condition, and the better our entire state of health will be. Without hesitation I tell you that brisk walking is the best form of exercise. You must become a prodigious pedestrian if you want to be strong from the inside out.

WALKING—THE “KING” OF EXERCISE

Of all forms of exercise brisk walking is the one that brings most of the body into action. In no other exercise do you get the same harmony of coordinating sinews, the same perfect circulation of the blood.

Brisk walking is the “king” of exercise, ideal for you … and your heart!

But you must never, never ride around the golf course in an electric cart! This makes a farce of the whole thing. Walking is what your heart needs. Although I am inclined to agree with Mark Twain, who mid, “Golf is a good way to spoil a good walk” … if it takes the game to make you walk, by all means do so.
