KEEP SLIM AND KEEP YOUR SELF ESTEEM

A fat, unshapely body not only can destroy your health … it can also destroy your self-esteem. You need to be proud of your body, not ashamed of it. Self-esteem is as necessary to the spirit as healthful food is to the body. If you want to be efficient, youthful, enthusiastic, full of the fire and fervor of life … keep slim and keep your self esteem! Build your body as an artist paints a picture or a sculptor molds a statue. Make it an expression of the best there is within you. Let it reflect your very soul—and then excess fat will find no lodgment.

MIND OVER MATTER
Make up your mind that you really want to slim down to your naturally normal weight. This is more difficult than it aseme, because the mind has a way of making excuses for an overweight body.

For instance, you may say to yourself, “It’s normal for me to be fat. I’m the plump type.” … or, “I eat so little, yet I remain fat.”

The latter may be true—but remember it is what you eat not how much. And it is never normal to be fat!

Your mind must be the boss of your body. Flesh is dumb . flesh is weak … flesh often demands fatty, starchy, sugary foods.

Either your mind rules the body or the body rules the mind.

Be positive!

Tell your body that your mind is the absolute master.

Remember it is the lean home for a long race. If you want a. long, healthy life … keep your body trim and fit. Once you have trimmed down to your normal weight through proper diet mid exercise, what a difference in the way you will feel!
